In the fall of 2003, Weber High faculty members, parents, community members, and students began to redefine our mission of school improvement. Although the mission and belief statements had been refined and modified several times in recent years, these documents were once again revisited to prepare for accreditation.

Suggestions, comments, and ideas were solicited from faculty and staff via the team structure developed as part of the sitebased management model. Following several months of discussion and revision, the suggested mission and belief statements were presented to a committee comprised of five students, seven teachers, one counselor, one administrator, and five parents. This group offered valuable input and discussion to assist in the development of the current mission and belief statements.
